Good Afternoon,
It has been over a month since I last blogged - I am officially rubbish!!
When I first had this new yrs resolution I totally thought I was going to blog once a week with all the details of my interesting life!!
Turns out - my life isn't that interesting!
Anyway, my dear friend Anahita told me to blog again - so here I am.....again! Wondering whether just to lie and write down loads of fun, excitin stuff that makes me look like I am really interesting or bore you with my mundane shit that makes my parents lives look like a non-stop party in comparison! But just in case someone who knows me well reads this, exposes my lies and makes me look like a twat I shall be truthful!! Lucky you!!!! I can almost see the nomination for a nobel prize in literature here before me!!
So, we are now in the flat! and it's looking lovely!! Moving in day was actually pretty stress free as lots of our kind chums came and helped us!! my Dad wasn't loving it so much when he realised I'd failed to mention it was a 2nd floor flat!! SURPRISE!!!
Still don't have anyone in the second room so (quick plug) if you or someone you know needs a room in London then take it before I end up selling my soul and dignity for rent money!
In other news, Martin's Birthday was last week and I got him tickets for Legally Blonde!! Just writing that sentence conjures up my repressed fears of dating a gay boy!! But he wanted to see it! Straight but has a thing for pink glitter and chorus lines?! go figure!! haha i'll stop taken the piss before I starting plugging for 2 housemates rather than 1!!
I also just read the book 'The Help' - if you have not read this book then you must!! I am rubbish at reading and usually read the first 2 chapters of a book and then put it back on the shelf to gather dust and for people to look at and think I am intelligent!! But I couldn't put it down! Not in a 'the pages are now a little sticky' kind of way - just amazing writing! Now I am in search of another good book - any suggestions?? And Giselle if you're reading this then I will read 'Yes Man' at some point!! Promise!
Zumba as always is good - numbers keep growing which is amazing!! And I've now been accepted on a course to do my qualifications as a fitness instructor which should be good! Although if they ask me to teach spinning I will cry!! It's just so painful!! If i'm going to get a sore crutch and walk around like John Wayne then I would at least hope it was due to riding something more pleasurable then a bike!! :)
Auditions are still non existent - so many people want you to work for free?? I dont know how they think that is possible!! It angers me how undervalued artists are! Yes I may not be able to perform brain surgery or do business on a blackberry but the world would be a miserable place without a TV, Radio, Theatre, Shows, Concerts etc. All those multi millionaires would be the first complain if they sat in their personal box at the theatre looking at an empty stage!! Rant over!!
Oooohhhh, excitin news in terms of other resolutions!! Something could be in the pipe line to break a guiness world record on TV! Killing one bird with 2 stones as Helen would say!!! haha but I don't want to jinx it so I wont say too much - just keep your fingers, toes and eyes crossed for us!! I also want to get on 'This Morning' just because my love for Philip Schofield cannot be suppressed it seems!! Mind you I'd probably find a way to get on only to be interviewed by Eamonn bloody Holmes! And what a twat he is!!
I think thats all really!! As Forest Gump would say "Thats all I got to say about that". Short and sweet but I intend to be better and blog more often! I will try my very hardest!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend! Love and sparkles, Laura xx
